RPET 2016 Application Form, Exam Dates, Pattern

RPET 2016 is a State Level Entrance Test which is conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan. It is for admission into the various undergraduate courses in Engineering and Architecture. However in this article, the focus will be laid on the Engineering courses. The target institutions are certain Engineering Colleges of Rajasthan.

The examination is mainly for the students of Rajasthan. However, students from outside Rajasthan are also invited for RPET. They can get admission for the courses of B.E. or B.Tech. These applicants must apply through their JEE (Main) scores. 15% seats in the Private Unaided Engineering Institutions and 15% seats in the Self-Financed Courses in the Government-Aided Engineering Institutions of Rajasthan are reserved for such applicants.

    RPET 2016 Application Form

    The admission for RPET can occur only online. The Application Form has to be duly filled. A scanned photograph and signature must also be uploaded to complete the procedure. A copy of the Application Form along with the required documents must be sent to the examination controlling body. The applicants must retain a copy of the filled Application Form for further correspondences, for instance, during the RPET results or the RPET counselling.

    RPET 2016 Eligibility Criteria

    • The applicants must be within 26 years of age and those applying against the reserved categories are given a relaxation of 5 extra years.
    • The domicile applicants must have completed the 10+2 Examination with 45% in aggregate. For the reserved categories, a relaxation of 40% is given. The applicants must have studied Physics, Maths and either Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science in that Examination.

    RPET 2016 Exam Pattern

    • The examination consists of the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus follows the syllabus of the 10+2 Examination.
    • The duration of the paper is 3 hours. It asks 120 questions, 40 from each subject. The paper is asked in both the Hindi and English languages.
    • Every correct answer will fetch 1 mark.

    MP PET 2016 Application Form, Exam Date, Syllabus

    MP PET 2016 was initially set-up as Pre-Medical Test Board by the Government of Madhya Pradesh (in 1970). Later, in 1981, Pre-Engineering Board was constituted. In 1982, both these Boards were combined and named as Professional Examination Board (P.E.B.). P.E.B., by Govt. Order No.1325-1717-42-82 dated 17.04.1982, has been assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission to various colleges in the state. P.E.B.

    The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board is a self-financed, autonomous, incorporated body of State Govt. It has perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire and hold property both movable and immovable and has the power to transfer any property held by it and to contract and do all other things necessary for the its constitution and may sue or get sued in its corporate name.

    MP PET 2016 Eligibility Criteria

    • Indian citizens below 21 years are allowed to apply for MP PET 2016. A relaxation up to 5 years is given for those applying against SC/ST/PwD Quotas.
    • The applicants must have cleared his/her 12th grade with 55%. However, those applying against the abovementioned quotas can have achieved 50%. The 10+2 Examination must have been completed from any recognized Board in India. The subjects studied must have been Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Appearing in JEE (Main) 2016 is compulsory for applying for MP PET 2016.

    • The Application Form of MP PET is an online one. Please find it online at the website: www.mponline.gov.in. The applicant has to register himself/herself online. The user id and password can be obtained in this matter. S/he will be directed to the Application Form. The required details has to be filled accordingly.

    • MP PET 2016 Application Form will most probably get displayed after the declaration of JEE (Main) 2016 results.
    • The Application Fee for the General and the OBC categories is INR 500/-. The categories SC/ST/PwD state a fee of INR 250/-. The fee can be paid either online or offline. In the online mode, Credit/Debit cards and NET Banking can be used. For the offline mode, an E-Challan has to be generated to make the payment.

    MP PET 2016 Exam Pattern

    There is no separate examination for MP PET. The merit list declared it is dependent solely on the scores obtained in JEE (Main). For instance, the merit list of MP PET 2016 will depend on the scores obtained in JEE (Main) 2016.

    KEAM 2016 Application Form, Exam Dates, Pattern

    KEAM 2016 stands for Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Examination. It is conducted by the Government of Kerala and so, is a State Level Examination. KEAM is for admission into the courses of Engineering, Architecture, MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary and Fisheries. However in this article, the focus will be laid on engineering alone.

    KEAM 2016 Application Form

    • The Application Form of KEAM is an online one. Please make the Online Submission of Application through their official website: www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
    • The applicant is required to apply for the Entrance Examination for admission to all the courses (Medical & Allied, Engineering and Architecture). If an applicant submits more than one printout of the application, his/her candidature is likely to be cancelled.

    • The Application Fee varies for those applying against the General and SC / SC Category. The General Category has to pay INR 1,000/- and the SC / ST Category has to pay INR 500/-. ST applicants whose annual family income is below Rs.40,000/- are relieved from payment, provided they produce the required documents.
    • Applicants choosing 'Dubai' as Examination Centre will have to remit an additional fee of INR12,000/- through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalised Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram along with the printout of the application.

    KEAM 2016 Eligibility Criteria

    • Indians and Keralites are allowed to apply for KEAM.
    • The applicants who have passed their 10+2s from recognized boards, with 50% marks in Mathematics individually, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry combined, are eligible for admission.
    • the students who have satisfied the abovementioned conditions with only 45%  are eligible for admission underManagement Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges.
    • In place of Chemistry, Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology is applicable.

    KEAM 2016 Exam Pattern

    • There will be two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I includes the subjects Physics and Chemistry. Paper II includes only Maths. Each paper will last for 2.5 hours. The questions will be multiple choice questions, each with five options.
    • The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will publish the “Answer Keys” on the website of the CEE and in leading dailies, after the completion of all the examinations.

    JCECE 2016 Application Form, Exam Dates, Pattern

    JCECE 2016 stands for Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. It is mainly an Engineering examination. However, it also conducts examinations for M.B.B.S., Agriculture, Forestry, B.V.Sc. & A.H., Homeopathy, and Ayurveda. It is a State Level examination. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) was constituted under Section 85 of Bihar Re-Constituted Act, 2000 by the Government(vide Memo No. 374) on 29.03.2001. It is a self-financed, autonomous incorporated body of the State Government. The Government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into thenumerous Institutions of the state. J.C.E.C.E.B. presently organizes approximately ten entrance tests yearly, JCECE being one of them.In this article, the focus will be placed on the Engineering courses. The basic criteria for application for JCECE are that the applicant must have scored a minimum of 45% in the 10+2 Examination.

    JCECE 2016 Application Form

    • The Application Form for JCECE 2016 is an online one. It must be filled online at their official website: jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. Entries like Examination Details, Personal Details, Academic Details, Contact Details and Guardian Details must be inserted accordingly. A scanned photograph must be uploaded to complete the procedure.
    • The form must be submitted along with the corresponding fees. The Admit Card must be downloaded and printed whenever it will be applicable for printing. The printout has to be carried on the day of the examination. Any mistakes on the card is changeable. Regarding that, communication must be made with the JCECE Secretariat immediately.

    • There are 3 papers, PCM, PCB and PCMB. For PCM, the fee for the General and Backward Classes is INR 550/-. Applicants applying against the SC/ST quota have to pay INR 275/-. The same fee applies for PCB. For the combined paper PCMB, the fee for the General and Backward Classes is INR 600/-. Applicants applying against the SC/ST quota have to pay INR 325/-.
    • The tie breaking criteria is that the marks of the applicants scored in Section I will be considered. If the tie persists, their marks in Section II will be considered. If the tie persists, the younger applicant will be given preference. Lastly, the applicants’ names in the alphabetical order will be considered.

    • Indian citizens, who are permanent residents of Jharkhand, are allowed to apply for JCECE 2016.
    • The applicant must have passed his/her 12th grade with the subjects Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with either Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject. 
    • S/he must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. An applicant about to appear for the final examination of the 12th grade can also apply but s/he needs to pass before the counselling.

      JCECE 2016 Exam Pattern

      • There will be two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be held in both the modes – online and offline. The online mode is termed as Computer Based examination. The offline mode is termed as Pen and Paper Based examination. The applicant has to select which mode s/he wants to opt for. Paper 2 will be held only in the Pen and Paper mode.
      • Paper 1 is for admission into B.E. or B.Tech. Paper 2 is for admission into B.Arch. or B.Planning. Paper 1 includes the subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Paper 2 includes the subjects Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing Test.
      • The questions asked will be objective type questions. The questions for the drawing test will be suited for asking drawing typed aptitude questions.
      • The results will be available on: http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/Links/result_card.aspx.The applicant needs to insert the name of the examination, in this case, JCECE. The result will then be displayed.
